High Winds

Saturday night was incredibly windy. The windows whistled all night long and I thought for certain the porch furniture might blow through the front window. Sunday morning I looked out the front and back window and was surprised to find everything in pretty much the same location. Big Daddy called from the firehouse to see if things we okay, "Just tell me the garage is still there." I kind of laughed at him when he asked, but went to the bathroom and pulled the shade and sitting on the ground was everything we keep in the garage, but the garage was gone. I looked around and then saw it through the fence in the neighbors yard. The photo below was taken a few minutes ago, Big Daddy spent most of the day retrieving the garage.
Bringing the garage back to our property.
Is Big Daddy smart or what?

Danger!

It has been quite a morning:

Abigail was eating her breakfast when she started to scream. I turned around to find my son standing there, "Your child had the fork in her mouth the wrong way and was going to get a boo-boo, so I took the fork away!"

A few hours later..."DANGER! EMERGENCY! DANGER! COME QUICK!" I ran to my bedroom to find both my children looking out the window to the screen on the ground below. "It just flew out of the window mama!"

Big Plans

"Mama tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am going to cook something for you and take care of you because I love you!"

Drive With Grandpa

One of Donny's favorite adventures in Ohio was going for a drive with Grandpa in his Model T truck. Although it was very chilly, we had a wonderful drive through the country. I forgot to bring my camera, but I do have this photo to share.

The Drive Home

The photos are in the wrong order. The top photo was taken 15 minutes from home. Donny was clearly ready to get out of the car.

About 6:30 in the morning, about 45 minutes into our drive. Sun rising out the front window and moon setting out the passenager window.

Buildings and Houses

Bid Daddy wanted to buy this two years ago. It was on the market for about $150,000.
This house always reminds me of Newport, RI. Designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. One of my favorite architects.
Many birthday cakes in this house, my Grandparents lived here when I was young.

The old hotel that was converted to the library.
