Doesn't Donny look angelic in the photo with his cousin Molly? The photo was taken about 20 minutes before Easter service on Sunday. His sweet demeanor was short lived. The plan was simple...after the children's sermon, Donny would go to the nursery with his cousin for the remainder of the church service. What we didn't plan on was the trumpet player accompanying a soprano soloist. About three minutes into her solo, my son put both hands over his ears and announced (quite loudly), "Make the lady stop, she's hurting my ears!"
I really enjoyed Easter services this year. Donny made me laugh, like I haven't in awhile.
