Rice Krispie

I put a bowl in front of each child then stepped back to watch the joy they were about to experience. They both looked at the bowls then each other. Donny spoke first, "What is this? How are we suppose to eat it? I know we'll use spoons, I'll get them." He left the table and returned with two spoons. He handed Abigail a serving spoon and brought a ladle for himself. I took the spoons away and explained that every kid in America used their fingers. They started to poke the treats with their fingers and slowly pulled a single rice krispie off of the pile. What I thought would be a fun experience was just plain painful. Only my children
