Deal
The kids were having a great time playing in the yard today. I overheard their conversation and laughed out loud. Abigail was holding a football and a soccer ball in front of her. Donny had his hand on his chin and he looked like he was thinking and then he said, "I'll give you a thousand for both." Abigail put a ball on the ground, shook Donny's hand and replied, "You've got a deal Mike." Next thing I know Mike and Danielle are skipping off to the swing set. I think the kids have seen too many American Pickers episodes.

Hike
Since Big Daddy, the entertainment director, was working I decided to take everyone on a nature hike. Aunt Kee-Kee was kind enough to stayed home and make beds.
Everyone had a great time and we were all amazed at the amount of the sand in the middle of the woods.

Uncle Ben
The kids loved this play table so much that they recreated it in my living room using a cookie sheet and an entire box of Uncle Ben's rice. Needless to say, there was rice everywhere.
Quote of the Day

Fair Day
The kids and I spent the day at the fair. I have always loved the fair and spent many years as a child attending. My cousins were in 4-H and would show their sheep and rabbits. I was also in 4-H.
I didn't have animals I was in 4-H sewing.
We would sew a project and then model it on a runway.
The kids wanted to spend most of the day going through all the barns. They took their time looking at the different exhibits and Donny saluted every solider we walked past. I am a very proud mommy. I was shocked when they didn't want to go on the rides but they changed their mind at the last minute.

Tissue Please
We have reached a new level in our house and now on this blog, but this story must be told. Abigail called me to the bathroom where I found her sitting on the potty. "Mommy could I have a tissue please?" "Did you go?" She shook her head no. "Do you have a runny nose?" Abigail replied, "I am going to poop, but I need a tissue to cover my nose because it is going to stink." I think it is time to send that girl down the hill to the horse farm to clean stalls. We have a princess problem.
