Bus Knowledge

Donny comes home from school everyday with a new piece of knowledge that he has learned on the bus.  As you can imagine, most of his new found knowledge is either inappropriate or not true.  Yesterday, I was informed that the pinkie finger is the Chinese version of the American middle finger.  I'm not sure which category this piece of knowledge falls into, but I can tell you that I will be watching closely for that pinkie finger in my face.

    Asked Chinese coworker. He said the pinky means the worst. It is the smallest finger so you are the worst...the smallest. I guess bigger is better?

    @Nora: So you're telling me that I should pay closer attention to the information the first grader is giving my son? I guess I should start to Google the knowledge from the bus before I try to correct Donny.
