(Reuters photo)I had a chance to watch about three minutes of the news this morning. California's annual wildfire is underway and raging. The firefighters are having a very difficult time trying to control the inferno. Apparently, there was an area of homes that was under a mandatory evacuation and five people refused to leave. Well, now those five people want to be rescued. Have we learned nothing since Katrina? When the authorities say leave, pack your sh*# and get out, JUST LEAVE! I love my house, but I'm not going to die for a structure. Why put your family in danger? Not to mention the firefighters who now have to risk their lives to come in and save you. This makes no sense to me. Mother Nature will always win. Okay, I'm done.
