Headlines
I am a self proclaimed news junkie or at least I was until Donny was about two. I always joke there should be a news crawl at the bottom of Noggin. I really miss being up to date on the events of the world, but I have decided I no longer care that I rarely get to watch the news. Please explain to me the ridiculous hype over the Tiger Woods "press conference" yesterday. I cannot understand why this was the lead story, when the day before a man set fire to his house, left an incredible suicide note on the Internet and then flew a plane into an IRS building and killed innocent people because he was a right wing fanatic. I'm so confused!!!! Is Tiger Woods really that important to our daily lives or is society so obsessed with "celebrity" figures that we bury our heads in the sand when real issues need to be addressed?

The world is all screwed. But on the other hand, why did Tiger Woods have to make such a big deal out of it........he needed to just apologize to his family, not us.
ReplyDeleteI suspect golf and sponsors are the reason for the apology. The PGA tour started last month and he has only missed a few tournaments. The Masters is in April and I think he has his eye on that tournament.
ReplyDeleteOK the guy with the plane was a nut, fanatic and did't like the IRS, BUT it had nothing to do with RIGHT RING crazies.....He was just crazy!!!!!Tiger well it is true, apoligize to wife and family and i guess to some of those zillion dollar sponsors. that is all i have to say about those two!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous...he might have been just a bit right wing? Is this a sore spot?
