Word Play

There are several words Donny is forbidden to say and yes we are probably a bit too strict, but stupid and disgusting are just two of the words we have banned. He's is banned more for the way he uses them rather than because of the words themselves. He tries to see how far he can push it before we will send him to the naughty spot. He was in rare form the other day with Big Daddy when the following conversation occurred. Donny said something like, "Daddy isn't that stuuuu..." and Big Daddy pointed at him. Then Donny said, "Daddy I was going to say stupendous!" A bit later Donny said, "Daddy that's dissssss..." once again Big Daddy pointed at him, this time Donny said, "Daddy I was going to say let's discuss it."

    Aunt Karen, we have Disney to thank for all of his colorful words and aggressive behavior. I have banned several movies until he his a bit older.

    Oh boy..just wait until he starts grade school, all the language and behavior on the school bus..Disney is peanuts compared to the crap that goes on in the buses..If I told u what Sami tells me you would start packing for Ohio..TRUST ME, whatever children are banned from they will revert to..Child Psych 101

    Lisa, you are probably right. I just want Donny to be the one who learns on the bus, not the one who teaches everyone.

    Big Daddy pointed out that I forgot to finish an entire sentence in the Word Play entry. That's what happens when I try to think with two little ones sitting next to me. I have finished my thought, I hope it is understandable now.

    Donny will be the one to tell the others how badly they are behaving. He will know right from wrong. It is just as well you banned some Disney, some are just not age appropiate.
